
Bananas are rich in iron and calcium. But nowadays some of us don’t like to eat it simply. Then why don’t we change that thought and fashion by making tasty and healthy banana dishes? Now that’s what we call let’s go banana!
1. Eggless banana pancake
Well, this is one of the best dishes for the ones who are Vegetarian and wants to have pancakes. They will not only enjoy these pancakes but also fulfil their needs of nutrition!
Ingredients:
1: Ripe bananas – 3 (medium)
2: Whole wheat flour – 1 cup
3: Crushed fennel (Souf) – ½ tsp.
4: Jaggery powder – 3 tbsp.
5: Water – ¾ cup or as required
6: Oil as per requirement
Steps:
- Mash the ripe banana by using a masher.
- Add Jaggery powder and flour in it.
- Then add crushed fennel seeds in it. Add ¾ cup parts by parts to mix well and form a batter of it.
- Heat a pan on middle flame and pour the batter on it. Don’t spread too much to make small pancakes.
- Flip the side when one side becomes golden brown and crisp.
- Then flip the other side when it becomes golden brown and crisp too.
- Do this process until it turns like a pancake.
- Serve then to enjoy!

2. Banana milkshake
Want to have a milkshake? Then why not try this version of nutrition and milk! I am sure that if you try this, then it will be added to your dinner menu!
Ingredients:
1: Coconut milk – 2 cups
2: Bananas – 3 (medium)
3: Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp.
4: Vanilla powder – 1 to 2 pinch
5: Sugar or jaggery as per requirement
Steps:
- Peel the bananas and chop them.
- Blend the bananas, milk, and sugar in the blender.
- Pour the milkshake into glasses and serve immediately as with time, the colour starts changing and taste too.

3. Banana Rasayana
This Delicious Dish is made with ripe bananas and coconut milk. It’s not only good in taste, but also healthy. This fruit is not just a fruit because you can make many dishes from this fruit. And one if them is the Banana Rasayana.
Ingredients:
1: Bananas – 2 medium
2: Jaggery powder – 2 tbsp.
3: Thick coconut milk – ½ cup
4: Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp.
Steps:
- Peel the bananas and slice them.
- Keep the sliced bananas in a bowl. Add Jaggery powder and cardamom powder in the bowl and mix the bananas nicely.
- Add the coconut milk over it and serve the Banana Rasayana.
- Keep the leftover in the fridge.

4. Banana chips
You must have eaten potato and tomato chips. But have you ever tried banana chips? If not, then try now!
Ingredients:
1: Raw Banana – 4 (medium sized)
2: Water – 3 to 4 cups
3: Salt to taste
4: Black pepper powder to taste
5: Oil for deep frying
Steps:
- Peel the raw bananas and slice them with the help of a slicer in water.
- Heat a frying pan on medium flame and pour cooking oil in it.
- When the oil gets heated up, then take out the sliced bananas from the water and put them in oil.
- Fry them until the bubble in the oil stops and the chips become a little brown.
- Store the chips and serve them when needed.

5. Egg less banana mousse
This drink is one of the tastiest drink that you can try. It’s not only yummy but also easy to make!
Ingredients:
1: Bananas – 3 large
2: Honey – 2 tablespoon
3: Fresh cream – ¾ cup
4: Lime juice – 3 to 4 drops
Steps:
- Peel the bananas and slice them.
- Blend them in a blender adding honey and lime juice in it.
- Then add fresh cream in the mixer and blend them again.
- Keep the mixture in the fridge by covering it with lid or aluminium foil and cool it.
- Enjoy after taking out from the fridge.

6. Raw banana French fries
You must have tried French fries. But have you ever tried the tasty mouth watering raw banana French fries? If you try it, then you will not be able to leave it!
Ingredients:
1: Bananas – 6 (small)
2: Oil to deep fry
3: Salt to taste
4: Sauce to eat with the fries
Steps:
- Peel the raw bananas and chop them into slices lengthwise (like fries)
- Heat oil in a pan and put the bananas in it and fry until it becomes brown.
- Do fry and check from time to time to avoid them to stick together.
- Serve it in bowls and sprinkle salt over it.
- Eat it with sauce and enjoy.

7. Raw banana tikka
Tikkas made from raw bananas are very soft and delicious. If eaten with green chutney and tomato sauce, then its taste is unbeatable!
Ingredients:
1: Raw banana – 7 pieces (small)
2: Water – 3 to 4 cups
3: Red chili powder – 1 tsp.
4: Salt to taste
5: Coriander powder –
6: Asefetida powder – 1 pinch
7: Garam masala – ¾ tsp.
8: Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp.
Steps:
- Boil raw bananas in warm water in a bowl until it becomes softer and can be pinched with a fork.
- Peel off the outer covering.
- Mash the bananas and add all the ingredients except oil. Mix well and make its circular oval shaped. Press it to give it a tikka shape.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame and shallow fry the tikkas until it gets brown.
- Switch off the flame and serve the tikkas with tomato sauce.

8. Eggless banana chocolate mousse
This dessert is for all the vegan lovers who love to stay fit and healthy and eat vegan without destroying their taste buds. This dessert is a perfect example of coco banana heart-warming taste.
Ingredients:
1: Bananas – 3 medium
2: Melted chocolates – 1 ½ or 2 cups
3: Fresh cream – ¾ cup
4: Cinnamon powder – 2 pinches
5: Sugar – 1 tbsp.
6: Instant coffee – 1 tbsp. (optional)
Steps:
- Peel the bananas and cut them into slices.
- Blend them in the mixture and add coffee, sugar and cinnamon powder while blending to mix well.
- Then add melted chocolate and fresh cream in it and blend again.
- Pour the mousse in shot glasses or bowls and cover it with aluminium foil or lid.
- Then keep the mousse into the fridge for some hours to let it set.
- Then enjoy having it chilled!

9. Banana ice cream
This Delicious ice cream is a little bit different from other ice creams because it’s not just smoother and tastes more natural than other ice creams, but also it’s made with only one main ingredient and that is the banana. It’s so amazing and exciting to eat only bananas in an ice cream form and stay fit and healthy without any fear of fat gain!
Ingredients:
1: Bananas – 3 ripe
2: Milk – ½ tbsp. (not compulsory, only if you need)
Steps:
- Peel the bananas and slice them.
- Put the slices on a plate and freeze them for 2 to 3 hours.
- Then Churn them in the mixture until it forms creamy form like ice cream. But if it stops moving or churning, then use wooden sticks to move them and churn again. If you’re having a problem in moving the mixture then add half tablespoon milk.
- When the mixture churns completely foamy and milky then either serve it or pack it nicely and put it in the fridge.

10. Banana cheese balls
This dish is my personal favourite, and I am sure that you will be unable to resist this dish. It just goes in your mouth and gives a taste bomb of cheese and bananas
Ingredients:
1: Raw bananas – 4 to 5 pieces (big)
2: Grated cheese – 1 or 1 ½ cup
3: Water to boil the bananas
4: Bread crumbs – 1 cup
5: Corn flour water mixture – 1 ½ cup
6: Salt to taste
7: Black pepper powder – ½ tsp.
8: Oil for deep fry
Steps:
- Boil the bananas and peel off the outer covering.
- Mash them and add grated cheese and other ingredients except for bread crumbs and corn flour.
- Mix them well.
- Make their balls and dip them in corn flour mixture.
- Roll them in Breadcrumbs.
- Deep fry them.
- Delicious banana cheese balls are ready to eat!
- Serve them with sauce or chutney

11. Banana sheera
Have you ever tried sheera? Of course, you would have tried it because it’s a traditional Indian dish and is made in almost every occasion. But have you tried the banana version of it? If not then try this delicious sheera now!
Ingredients:
1: Roasted Rava (suji) – 1 cup
2: Bananas – 2 to 3 pieces (chopped)
3: Oil or Ghee – 3 tablespoon
4: Sugar – 5 to 6 tablespoon
5: Hot water or hot milk – 2 ½ cups
6: Saffron to taste
7: Cardamom powder – ¾ tsp.
8: Chopped dry fruits – 3 to 4 tbsp.
Steps:
- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat until 2 to 3 minutes without letting it brown.
- Add chopped bananas to the mixture and stir nicely.
- Add water or milk to the mixture and stir for 2 minutes to mix it well.
- Add sugar and mix well for 2 more minutes.
- Switch off the flame and immediately add cardamom powder and saffron and mix for a minute.
- Serve hot and enjoy eating!

12. Choco banana bomb
Eating a banana? Why eating it plain? Make its chocolate and eat it like a bomb explosion of chocolate and bananas in the mouth!
Ingredients:
1: Bananas – 5 pieces
2: Melted chocolate or Nutella – 10 to 12 tbsp.
3: Corn flour water mixture – 1 cup
4: Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
5: Oil to deep fry
Steps:
- Peel the bananas and just cut them from middle breadthwise making it into two halves.
- Scoop out the banana filling and fill Nutella in it.
- Dip them into corn flour water mixture and bread crumbs and deep fry it.
- Crispy Choco banana bombs are ready to eat!

13. Banana pakoras
You would have eaten potato, onion and cucumber pakoras, but have you ever eaten banana pakoras? If not, then try it now!
Ingredients:
1: Gram flour – ½ cup
2: Raw banana – 5 to 6
3: Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
4: Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
5: Baking soda – 1 pinch
6: Water for making batter
7: Salt to taste
8: Oil for deep frying
9: Sauf – ¾ teaspoon
Steps:
- Boil the bananas and peep their skin.
- Slice the bananas horizontally and keep them aside.
- Mix gram flour, water, salt, red chili powder, baking and sauf and make the batter.
- Coat the banana slices in the batter and pour them in hot oil on medium flame and fry until they become crispy and golden.
- Serve the hot and delicious pakoras with sauce or tea!

14. Vazhakkai fry
This South Indian spicy and crispy dish will make you forget about the old fashioned veggie nuggets which you always prefer to eat.
Ingredients:
1: Bananas – 4 (small)
2: Mustard seeds – ¼ teaspoon
3: Asafetida powder – 1 to 2 pinch
4: Curry leaves – 5 to 7
5: Oil – 2 tbsp.
6: Red chili powder – ½ tsp.
7: Coriander powder – ½ tsp.
8: Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp.
9: Salt to taste
10: Chopped coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon
Step:
- Peel the raw bananas and chop them in circles. Keep them in water and in a pan heat oil for shallow frying.
- Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and Asafoetida powder in it.
- Then take out the chopped bananas in it and add rest of the spices in it except Coriander leaves.
- Mix well and distribute the bananas evenly in the pan to make them cook evenly.
- Without covering the pan with lid, saute the bananas and keep them mixing time to time to cook.
- Switch off the flame and serve in dishes.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves.

15. Banana butter
Nothing will be better than a banana butter because it’s not only easier to spread, but also low in calories. The best part of it is that without adding any sugar, it tastes sweeter and acts as a fruit itself.
Ingredients:
1: Banana – 1 (medium)
2: Peanut butter – 3 to 4 tablespoon
3: Cinnamon powder – ½ teaspoon
Steps:
- All you have to do is just peel and slice the ripe banana and blend it with peanut butter and Cinnamon powder in a blender.
- Serve it with brown bread and keep the leftover butter in the fridge for storing.

16. Chocolate dipped frozen bananas
This is the best dish for teenagers where taste and health are two major priorities. This yummy dessert will make you forget chocolates and ice creams.
Ingredients:
1: Melted dark chocolate – 12 ounces
2: Bananas – 3 (large)
3: Chopped almonds
4: Chopped pistachios
5: Popsicle sticks
6: Cocoa tilts
Steps:
- Peel the bananas and cut them into three halves.
- Take the Popsicle sticks put the banana half. Coat the bananas with melted dark chocolate.
- Sprinkle pistachios, almonds and cocoa tilts and keep it in the fridge to cool and set.
- Enjoy your chocolate dipped frozen bananas!

17. Banana Apple Carrot Juice
Talking about bananas in juice? Well, it sounds weird cause when we make juices, we never talk about the use of bananas in it. But it is really a tasty and amazing experience!

1: Long ripen bananas – 1
2: Apple – 1
3: Medium Carrot – 1
4: Sugar to taste
5: Water – 1 cup
6: Ice as per wish
Steps:
- Peel and then chop apple, banana, and carrot.
- Put them in a mixture and blend well-adding water and ice to it.
- Add sugar and again blend.
- Serve the juice in glasses.

18. Fried banana milkshake
If you already tried the banana milkshake, then forget about that taste bcause this version is tastier!
Ingredients:
1: Unsalted butter – 3 tbsp.
2: Milk – ½ cup
3: Vanilla ice cream – 4 large scoops
4: Light brown sugar – 2 tbsp.
5: Ripe bananas – 2 (sliced)
Steps:
- Melt butter in a frying pan and add sliced banana it. Add sugar to it and mix well and fry.
- Then add the fried bananas, milk and vanilla ice cream in a blender and blend until it forms a foamy or nice liquid.
- Serve the milkshake in glasses and decorate it with cream over it.
- Enjoy!

19. Banana Mango figs smoothie

Steps:
- Peel the bananas and chop them.
- Make a batter of flour, cinnamon powder, and castor sugar.
