
Cold drinks can cause excessive damage to bones and stomach lining. There is a need to find healthier alternatives for drinking tasty beverages without putting one’s life in danger. With awareness about health and fitness rising, Smoothies and Milkshakes have become fairly popular. Following is a list of all such drinks that are not only easy to prepare but also very tasty and are loaded with required vitamins and minerals.
1. Peanut Butter & Oats Smoothie
Ingredients
- Two ripe bananas
- 4 tbsp oats
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 500 ml skimmed milk
- Walnuts (optional)
Method
- Add all the ingredients and blitz it together.
- The smoothie is ready. Garnish it with walnuts.

2.Lassi
Ingredients
- 1 cup low-fat Curd
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 250ml Water
Method
- In a tumbler, mix the Honey, Water, and the low-fat Curd. Blend it.
- Garnish with Nuts (optional)

3. Tropical Fruit Cooler
Ingredients
- 1 cup Pineapple, chopped
- One whole Mango, peeled and diced
- Three Plums, cored and chopped into tiny pieces
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 100ml Apple juice
- Few Mint leaves
Method
- In a blender, toss in the Pineapple, Plums, and Mango. Blend it to a puree.
- Pour in the Apple juice to it and also add the Lemon juice.
- Pour the liquid into a shaker, add ice and shake
- Garnish with Mint leaves

4. Spinach Smoothie
Ingredients
- 3 cups spinach
- 300ml low-fat milk
- 2 tbsp honey
- Two tsp flax seeds
- 200ml apple juice
Method
- Add all the ingredients to a blender, except the Honey, and blend until it runs smooth
- Drizzle the Honey

5. Orange – Iced Green Tea
Ingredients
- One tea bag Green Tea
- 100ml water
- ¼ Lemon
- 300ml Orange Juice
- Ice Cubes
Method
- Heat the water, turn off the flame. Introduce the tea bag to steep in the water for 3 minutes.
- In a tumbler, mix the Orange juice and the Green Tea
- Squeeze the Lemon Juice into the drink
- Chill in the fridge for about 10 to 15 minutes
- Serve with ice

6. Apple And Carrot Slush
Ingredients
- Two Apples, peeled and cored
- One large Carrot, peeled and cut into quarters
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 100ml Apple juice
- Ice cubes
Method
- Crush the ice in a blender, then add the Apple and the Carrots
- Blend until smooth, add the Apple juice and Lemon
- Add more crushed ice to the slush.

7. Watermelon Strawberry Freezer
Ingredients
- 2 cups Watermelon, deseeded and diced
- 1 cup frozen Strawberries
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Mint leaves
Method
- Blend the watermelon in the blender until it is smooth
- Add the Strawberries and blitz for a little while, we need the Strawberries to remain chunky
- In a tumbler, combine the mixture, Lemon juice, and Ice.
- Garnish with fresh Mint leaves

8. Iced Coffee
Ingredients
- 400ml low-fat Milk
- 2 tbsp low-fat Ice cream
- Two tsp instant Coffee
- 1 tbsp Honey
Method
- Beat the Honey and Coffee powder in a cup
- Add Milk and transfer the contents to a blender
- Blend it for 3 seconds
- Serve with a dollop of low-fat Ice cream

9. Chocolate Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
- Two ripe Bananas
- 400ml low-fat Milk
- ¼ cup dark Chocolate
- One tsp Cinnamon
Method
- Slice the banana into discs
- Add the Banana, Milk, and Chocolate to a blender and blend until smooth
- Sprinkle the Cinnamon on top

10. Honey, Pineapple And Sweet Lime Mocktail
Ingredients
- 250ml pineapple juice
- 250ml Sweet Lime juice
- 1 tbsp Honey
- Ice cubes
Method
- Mix both the juices
- Stir in the Honey
- Serve with ice cubes

11. Tender Water Mango Drink
Ingredients
- 300ml tender water
- 200gm Mango pulp
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 4 tbsp Oatmeal
Method
- Combine everything in a blender and blend
- Garnish with Nuts (optional)

12. Spiced Buttermilk
Ingredients
- 1 cup low-fat Curd
- 400ml water
- Two tsp rock Salt
- One tsp Cumin powder
- One tsp grated Ginger
- One small Green Chili
- A few sprigs of Coriander
Method
- Blend the water and Curd until it is a runny solution.
- Add the salt, Ginger, and Green Chili, blitz it again.
- Sprinkle the Cumin powder on top, garnish with coriander leaves

13. Almond Milk Smoothie
Ingredients
- 250ml low-fat Milk
- 4 tbsp Almond Meal
- 2 tbsp Oats
- Two ripe Bananas
Method
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender

14. Beetroot Smoothie
Ingredients
- 250ml Coconut milk
- 1 cup Beetroot, sliced
- One Orange, peeled and deseeded
- 1 tbsp Honey
- Ice cubes
Method
- On a grill pan, gently roast the Beetroot until they turn soft and semi-cooked
- Allow the strips of Beetroot to cool off
- Add the Coconut milk, Beetroot, Oranges, and ice to the blender. Blend until they combine.
- Drizzle in the Honey, serve with some more ice cubes

15. Pomegranate And Berries Smoothie
Ingredients
- ¾ cup Pomegranate seeds
- 1 cup seasonal Berries available (Strawberries, Raspberries, Cranberries, Blueberries, etc.)
- 250ml low-fat Milk
- 100ml Coconut Milk
Method
- Blend the Pomegranate Seeds and Coconut Milk
- Add the low-fat Milk and mix

16. Hot Turmeric Milk
Ingredients
- Ground Turmeric
- Cardamom
- Black Pepper
- Ginger
method
- Mix the above ingredients.
- Add milk to it.
- Add some honey also.
- Heat to such an extent that the flavors blend.
- Drink the healthy drink now!

17. Dense Chocolate Smoothie
Ingredients
- 300ml low-fat Milk
- ½ cup dark Chocolate
- 1 cup Curd
Method
- In a double boiler, melt the Chocolate.
- Stir in the Milk and allow it to mix thoroughly
- Allow it to cool
- Add the Curd and blend it.

18. Peach Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup Peaches, peeled and diced
- 1 cup low-fat Curd
- 1 Banana
- 100ml low-fat Milk
- Ice cubes
Method
- Combine the Peaches, Curd, and Banana, blend until smooth.
- Pass the Milk and ice cubes through the blender.
- In a shaker add both the contents and mix

19. Green Goodness Shake
Ingredients
- 1 cup Spinach
- ½ cup green Grapes
- 1 Granny Smith apple, cored and diced
- One Cucumber, peeled and chopped
- One medium Avocado (optional)
- 100ml tender water
Method
- In the blender add the Spinach, Green Grapes, Granny Smith Apples, Cucumber, and Avocado
- Blend until it forms a smooth mixture
- Add the Coconut Water and blend some more
