Hakkasan makes you feel SPECIAL! It is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants I have been to, in India. When I say it’s one of the best, I not only refer to the food but the overall dining experience. Right from reception to the service, ambiance, extreme cleanliness and the food of course, everything is top notch; everything is of 5-star quality!

8.Gallops
A must visit if you have a thing for old classy charm. Located inside the race course, it’s a beautiful place to go on a date. Named after the fastest pace of a horse, the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the entire racecourse.

9.Pali Village Café
Pali Village Café is beautifully dilapidated and bleeds romance. With its old-looking designed walls, soft candlelight and a silent movie playing in the backdrop, it’s truly eyeful. It serves very exquisite food.

10.Corniche – At The Waterfront
Can’t have a better location for a restaurant than this. Its Greek styled interiors calms you instantly as you enter in, however for reasons unknown they play music at higher decibel, modern European menu and they even serve shishas.

11.Asilo – The St. Regis Mumbai
A classy chic place on the 38th floor which gives you a bird’s view of the city. Best time to visit is just before sunset so you can soak every bit of it. Music, ambiance service, everything is all classy and sophisticated.

Cost: 3,000 for two people (approx.)

12.Koyla
A must-visit place to experience fine Mughlai style dining on a rooftop. The seating is just perfect. To start with, they serve some amazing hukkas, and that kicks off things well. Mainly carting to non-veg, their Rawas, nawabi tikka and galouti kababs are just perfect, setting a benchmark for non-veg appetizers. In vegetarian menu, corn cheese balls and nawabi mushroms are nice. Subz lasoonee in main course and phirni in dessert are among the favourites. The service is little slow but the staff is very courteous. Must-Go!

13.The Tasting Room
The tasting room is like an oasis of beauty in crowded and dusty Lower Parel. It’s a stunning place decorated with Good Earth furniture, having accents of sea green and rose. The furniture coupled with mirrors and greenery, make this restaurant pleasing to the eyes. The food is sublime, do try their tasting plates of you’re out with a group of friends. Their collection of wine is also highly recommended!

14.The Table
The table serves simple yet creative dishes. They’ve kept the flavours very simple and authentic. It has beautifully done interiors. Spicy salmon tartar, prawn taco, Aussie lamb shank and salted caramel ice-cream are some of the recommended food items there.

15.Souk – The Taj Mahal Palace
It is established inside the Taj hotels. Its interiors are very sober, with a tinge of ethnicity in it. Its dimmed light ambiance makes it a preferred choice to go on a date.

16.The Sassy Spoon
What a place! Sassy Spoon has been successful in meeting expectations of its customers. Fantastic ambience, great vibes, cooperative and smart staff, and of course, food that just blows your mind.

17.Ellipsis
It has cozy complicated furniture supported by dim lit lights beautified. Dimly lit, beautifully planned and artistically designed, it was love at first sight for me. The menu is something out of the box for a Mumbaikar. If you’re looking to treat your significant other or just yourself with a great evening then this is the spot. Overall, I’d urge you to try this place at least once because it’s the entire experience that leaves you feeling satisfied.

18.The Yoga House
As soon as you step into this tiny green bungalow, you are automatically feel like being in Goa. The cozy bungalow makes for tiny yet comfortable seating – floor seating as well as tables. The vibe is chilled. It’s calm with natural light lighting the place. And of course the organic food adds to this yoga or tribal sort of vibe that they are trying to create. All the food is served on these brass thalis. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon laze-around session.

19.The Silver Beach Café
A very comfortable place to chill, away from all the rush corners of the city. Awesome ambiance with light music keeps you wanting to linger on with the food as long as you can. The food is good and a place where you would like to visit again. Silver Beach Cafe is the hidden gem of Juhu.
